Built from the welfare schemes chapter, whose figures come from chapter 4 of the Government of Rajasthan's Economic Review 2025-26, with the flagship designation from Prasar Bharati's News on AIR of 13 April 2025.
How to use this page
Almost every state pension pays ₹1,250 a month. What separates the six schemes is who qualifies — the age, the income ceiling, and whether the beneficiary must be Below Poverty Line. Learn the eligibility, not the amount, because the amount will not distinguish the options.
Work in this order: Section B first, since the pensions are the largest block of both spending and questions; then the girl-child and child schemes, where the conditions attached to money are the examinable part.
Read the tag on each question
| Tag | What it tests | If you keep missing these |
|---|---|---|
| Type A · eligibility | The right amount attached to the wrong qualifying rule | Two income ceilings and three age bars run through these schemes |
| Type B · centre-state share | The Centre's contribution to one pension offered for another | Old age is ₹200; widow and disabled are ₹300 |
| Type C · part-year | A nine-month progress figure read as a year | Every scheme figure here runs to December 2025 |
| Type D · superseded | The older 33-scheme flagship list offered as current | The current designation is 25, from April 2025 |
| Recall / Concept | No trap — the figure, or the reasoning behind it | Ordinary revision |
Section A — The flagship designation (Q1–5)
1. How many schemes carry flagship designation in Rajasthan under the current arrangement? — Type D · superseded
Show answer
(c) 25.
Why not the others: (a) 33 is the previous government's designation and is superseded, though it still circulates widely in notes; (d) 356 is the number of schemes listed on the Jan Soochna Portal, which carries no flagship label at all; (b) is the district count.
2. Departments implementing flagship programmes must file progress and expenditure reports with the Chief Minister's Office — Recall
Show answer
(a).
Why not the others: none of the other cadences is on record. The Planning Department also tracks and reviews progress, and district in-charge ministers and secretaries hold review meetings.
3. Which is true of the word "flagship" in the Economic Review 2025-26? — Concept
Show answer
(d).
Why not the others: (a) and (c) assert a label the document does not use; (b) the Budget Speech 2026-27 also contains no occurrence, and both were searched in full. Every scheme on the list is real and state-documented; the Review simply never applies the designation.
4. Which of these is among the 25 flagship programmes? — Recall
Show answer
(b) Panch Gaurav Yojana, under the Planning Department.
Why not the others: (a) and (d) are policies, not schemes, and are not on the list; (c) is a major health scheme but is not among the 25. PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission is the health entry on the list, which is a different thing.
5. Which department is credited with Jal Jeevan Mission on the flagship list? — Recall
Show answer
(c) Public Health Engineering, which also holds AMRUT.
Why not the others: (a) Panchayati Raj holds Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin), Svamitva, Atal Gyan Kendra and Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan 2.0; (b) Rural Development holds the Didi and Sakhi cadres, PMAY-G and the Garibi Mukt Gram Yojana; (d) Ground Water holds Karmabhoomi se Matrubhoomi Abhiyan. The department column follows the circulating enumeration and is labelled as such on the parent page.
Section B — The six pensions (Q6–17)
6. Under Mukhya Mantri Old Age Samman Pension Yojana, the qualifying ages are — Type A · eligibility
Show answer
(a).
Why not the others: (b) 60 for both is the central Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension's rule and is the designed confusion; (c) swaps the sexes; (d) appears nowhere. The state scheme's lower bar and income test rather than BPL status are why it reaches 51.90 lakh people against the central scheme's 8.32 lakh.
7. The income ceiling for the Mukhya Mantri Vishesh Yogyajan Samman Pension Yojana is — Type A · eligibility
Show answer
(b) ₹60,000 or less.
Why not the others: (a) ₹48,000 applies to the old age and single-woman pensions, and the two ceilings are the standard swap; (c) ₹8 lakh is the Anuprati Coaching ceiling; (d) BPL is the test for the three Indira Gandhi pensions, not this one.
8. A leprosy-cured person under the Vishesh Yogyajan pension receives — Recall
Show answer
(d) ₹2,500, the highest rate in any of the six pensions.
Why not the others: (a) ₹1,250 is the standard rate; (b) ₹1,500 is what a certified silicosis victim receives, and also the rate at 75 and above in the widow and single-woman schemes; (c) ₹750 is a Palanhar rate. Leprosy-cured and silicosis are the two rates that break the ₹1,250 pattern.
9. Silicosis victims qualify for the higher rate only if — Type A · eligibility
Show answer
(a).
Why not the others: (b), (c) and (d) are conditions the scheme does not impose for this rate. The Vishesh Yogyajan pension covers specially-abled persons of all ages from birth, so no age bar applies at all.
10. The Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme was launched on — Recall
Show answer
(c).
Why not the others: (a) 24 November 2009 is the Disabled pension's start; (b) 29 October 2024 is Ayushman Vay Vandan; (d) 1 August 2024 is Lado Protsahan Yojana. Two Indira Gandhi pension dates, two years apart, and both are asked.
11. The Central Government's contribution under the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension for a beneficiary below 80 is — Type B · centre-state share
Show answer
(b) ₹200.
Why not the others: (a) ₹300 is the Centre's share under the widow and disabled pensions, which is the distinction being tested; (c) ₹500 applies at 80 and above in all three central schemes; (d) ₹1,250 is the whole pension. The state pays the balance in every case.
12. Which pension has the largest number of beneficiaries? — Recall
Show answer
(d) 51.90 lakh, at ₹7,124.78 crore.
Why not the others: all three are real counts of the other schemes and all are far smaller. This one scheme costs more than the other five pensions combined.
13. The Mukhya Mantri Ekal Nari Samman Pension Yojana covers — Type A · eligibility
Show answer
(c).
Why not the others: (a) describes the Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension, which requires BPL status and age 40; (b) is the state old age pension; (d) overstates the coverage. The state scheme covers three marital categories and starts at 18, which the central one does not.
14. In both the widow and the single-woman pensions, the rate rises to ₹1,500 at what age? — Recall
Show answer
(a) 75.
Why not the others: (b) 80 is the age at which the Centre's contribution rises to ₹500, which is a different threshold in the same schemes and the designed confusion; (c) and (d) appear nowhere in these two schemes.
15. Which pension has the fewest beneficiaries? — Recall
Show answer
(b) 13,230, at ₹6.65 crore.
Why not the others: all three others are in lakhs. The state's own Vishesh Yogyajan pension reaches 5.90 lakh specially-abled persons against the central disabled pension's 13,230, which is the same pattern as the two old age schemes.
16. The approximate total across the six pensions in 2025-26 up to December was — Type C · part-year
Show answer
(d) — a sum of the six rows, marked as arithmetic on the parent page.
Why not the others: (a) and (b) are two individual schemes; (c) is what the figure must not be read as. It covers pensions only, over nine months, and no consolidated welfare total is published in the chapter read.
17. Which two pensions share the ₹48,000 annual income ceiling? — Type A · eligibility
Show answer
(a).
Why not the others: (b) Vishesh Yogyajan uses ₹60,000; (c) the central pensions use BPL status, not an income figure; (d) three different tests operate across the six. Two ceilings and one BPL test is the structure to hold.
Section C — Girl child, women and children (Q18–33)
18. Lado Protsahan Yojana provides — Recall
Show answer
(c).
Why not the others: (a) ₹1,20,000 is PMAY-Gramin; (b) ₹51,000 is the Widow Marriage Gift; (d) ₹21,000 is the base marriage assistance for a daughter. The scheme has run from 1 August 2024.
19. The distinctive design feature of Lado Protsahan Yojana is that — Concept
Show answer
(d).
Why not the others: (a) ignores the seventh instalment, which is the whole point; (b) describes the marriage schemes; (c) describes Palanhar's higher rate for 6 to 18 year olds. That final instalment is what makes it a scheme about the girl rather than the household.
20. Eligibility for Lado Protsahan requires the girl to be born — Type A · eligibility
Show answer
(b).
Why not the others: (a), (c) and (d) are conditions the scheme does not impose. The institutional-birth condition ties the transfer to the maternal health system, which is the design point.
21. Kalibai Bheel Udaan Yojana provides free sanitary napkins to women and girls aged — Recall
Show answer
(c) 10 to 45, reaching about 1.22 crore beneficiaries a month.
Why not the others: (a) 14 to 18 is the Scheme for Adolescent Girls age band; (b) and (d) are near-misses. Procurement is by the Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation and Rajeevika.
22. Marriage assistance for a daughter includes what additional incentive for a graduate? — Recall
Show answer
(a) ₹20,000.
Why not the others: (b) ₹10,000 is the incentive for a girl who has passed class 10; (c) ₹51,000 is the Widow Marriage Gift, a separate scheme; (d) appears nowhere. The education-linked top-ups are what distinguish this scheme.
23. The Scheme for Adolescent Girls operates in which five aspirational districts? — Recall
Show answer
(b).
Why not the others: (a) is close to the Ujalaa Milk Producer Company districts; (c) overlaps the Van Dhan districts; (d) is an eastern grouping that appears nowhere. The scheme covers girls aged 14 to 18 and has run since 1 April 2022.
24. The 181 Women Helpline provided referral services in how many cases in 2025-26 up to December? — Type C · part-year
Show answer
(d) 4,098.
Why not the others: (a) 29,368 is the number of adolescent girls surveyed in the five aspirational districts; (b) 7,269 is the number of girls given marriage assistance; (c) 224 is the Bal Sambal count from the health chapter. The helpline operates 24x7.
25. Under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013, an Internal Committee must be constituted by an employer with — Recall
Show answer
(a) 10 or more.
Why not the others: none of the other thresholds is in the Act as the Review describes it. Each district must additionally have a Local Committee, which covers workplaces below the threshold.
26. Under Palanhar Yojana, an orphan aged between 6 and 18 receives — Type A · eligibility
Show answer
(c).
Why not the others: (a) ₹1,500 is what an orphan aged 0 to 6 receives, and also what a non-orphan aged 6 to 18 receives; (b) ₹750 is a non-orphan aged 0 to 6; (d) ₹2,000 is the annual lump sum for clothing and essentials. The school-enrolment condition on the higher rate is what makes Palanhar a conditional transfer.
27. Palanhar Yojana was originally launched for — Recall
Show answer
(d).
Why not the others: (a) describes the scheme after extension, not at launch; (b) and (c) are not its origin. It now also covers children of incarcerated parents, widows, remarried widows, parents affected by leprosy or HIV/AIDS and specially-abled parents.
28. Mission Vatsalya is funded between Centre and state in the ratio — Type B · centre-state share
Show answer
(b) 60:40.
Why not the others: none of the other ratios is given. The same 60:40 governs PMAY-Gramin and the National Rural Livelihood Mission, which makes it worth memorising once.
29. Under Mission Vatsalya, Child Care Institutions in Rajasthan number — Recall
Show answer
(c).
Why not the others: (a) and (b) each give half the total; (d) 151 is the number of domestic and inter-country adoptions made through the 40 specialised adoption agencies. Also under the mission: 62 children in individual foster care, 201 under sponsorship and 42 under after-care.
30. How many children benefited under Palanhar Yojana in 2025-26 up to December? — Type C · part-year
Show answer
(a).
Why not the others: (b) 3.27 lakh is the Lado Protsahan beneficiary count; (c) 3,268 is children in Child Care Institutions; (d) 1.05 lakh is toilets built under SBM-G. Palanhar is by some distance the largest child scheme by both count and cost.
31. Under the Widow Marriage Gift Scheme, the amount payable is — Recall
Show answer
(b) ₹51,000, to a pension-entitled widow on her marriage.
Why not the others: (a) ₹21,000 is the base daughter's marriage assistance; (c) ₹1.50 lakh is Lado Protsahan; (d) ₹10 lakh is the inter-caste marriage incentive. Four marriage-related amounts, four different schemes.
32. The Udaan Scheme distributed how many sanitary pads in 2025-26 up to December? — Recall
Show answer
(d) 63 lakh.
Why not the others: (a) 1.22 crore is the number of monthly beneficiaries under Kalibai Bheel Udaan, not pads distributed; (c) 2.18 crore is LPG cylinders refilled; (b) is toilets. Production units have been established in all districts.
33. Old age homes and Chief Minister Rehabilitation Homes operating with state support number — Recall
Show answer
(c).
Why not the others: (b) swaps the two, which is the designed error; (a) is the Child Care Institution split; (d) borrows the foster-care and after-care counts. Expenditure was ₹13.75 crore in 2025-26 up to December.
Section D — Universal welfare and education support (Q34–45)
34. Under the Mukhyamantri Rasoi Gas Subsidy Scheme, a domestic LPG cylinder costs — Recall
Show answer
(a).
Why not the others: (b) misstates the price; (c) drops the annual cap, which is part of the entitlement; (d) overstates the benefit. From 2024-25 the scheme was extended from Ujjwala beneficiaries and selected BPL families to all NFSA families in the state.
35. Cylinders refilled under that scheme in 2025-26 up to December numbered — Type C · part-year
Show answer
(d).
Why not the others: (a) is sanitary pads, (b) is monthly napkin beneficiaries and (c) is DAWA patient visits from the health chapter. This is the broadest scheme on the page by coverage, because the NFSA extension takes it well beyond a targeted group.
36. The Chief Minister Anuprati Coaching Scheme has a family income ceiling of — Type A · eligibility
Show answer
(b) ₹8 lakh a year, or parents in government service within specified salary criteria.
Why not the others: (a) ₹48,000 and (c) ₹60,000 are pension ceilings; (d) appears nowhere in this scheme. The category list is wider than most notes give: SC, ST, OBC, MBC, minorities, economically backward classes and specially-abled persons.
37. Anuprati coaching in 2025-26 reached how many students against what target? — Type C · part-year
Show answer
(c).
Why not the others: (a) reverses achievement and target; (b) 5,500 is the number of Ambedkar DBT Voucher places; (d) 24,907 is the count of Lakhpati community resource persons from another chapter. The scheme covers coaching for UPSC, RPSC, REET, Patwari and Constable examinations.
38. The Ambedkar DBT Voucher Yojana provides — Recall
Show answer
(a).
Why not the others: (b) overstates the rate; (c) ₹50,000 is the PM-AJAY assistance ceiling; (d) the scheme exists precisely for students in rented accommodation away from home, so it is not hostel provision. It applies to Arts, Science and Commerce courses at government colleges located at district headquarters.
39. The Ambedkar DBT Voucher places total — Recall
Show answer
(b) 5,500 — 1,500 SC, 1,500 ST, 750 OBC, 750 MBC, 500 minority and 500 economically backward.
Why not the others: (c) 1,500 is the SC or ST allocation alone; (a) is the sum of only the two largest; (d) is the marriage-assistance count. The six category allocations sum exactly to 5,500.
40. Under the Dr. Savita Ben Ambedkar Inter-Caste Marriage Incentive, marriages registered on or after 1 April 2023 attract — Recall
Show answer
(d) ₹10 lakh.
Why not the others: (a) ₹5 lakh is the rate for marriages registered up to 31 March 2023; (c) ₹1.25 lakh is the Centre's share under both rates; (b) ₹2.50 lakh is one of the three disbursal tranches. The state bears ₹8.75 lakh of the enhanced amount.
41. Of the enhanced ₹10 lakh incentive, how much is placed in a fixed deposit and for how long? — Recall
Show answer
(c) ₹5 lakh for eight years.
Why not the others: (a) ₹2.50 lakh is credited to a joint bank account and another ₹2.50 lakh released through Pay Manager; (b) would leave nothing for immediate use; (d) contradicts the scheme. The three tranches sum to ₹10 lakh.
42. Comparing the two inter-caste marriage rates, the enhancement from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh was borne — Type B · centre-state share
Show answer
(a) — the state share rose from ₹3.75 lakh to ₹8.75 lakh.
Why not the others: (b), (c) and (d) each assume the Centre contributed to the increase. The Centre's ₹1.25 lakh is identical under both rates, which is the point of comparing them.
43. PM-AJAY was formerly known as — Recall
Show answer
(d).
Why not the others: (a), (b) and (c) are separate schemes with their own histories. PM-AJAY provides grant-in-aid for group livelihood projects, up to ₹50,000, being 50 per cent of project cost or ₹50,000, whichever is less.
44. Which statement about the state's pension architecture is correct? — Concept
Show answer
(b).
Why not the others: (a) is contradicted by 51.90 lakh against 8.32 lakh on old age alone; (c) three different tests operate; (d) the state old age pension has age bars of 55 and 58. Targeting method, not generosity of rate, is what separates the two families of scheme.
45. Every scheme progress figure in this chapter runs to — Type C · part-year
Show answer
(c).
Why not the others: (b) November and (d) September are cut-offs used in the infrastructure chapter for consumers and energy flows; (a) would be a full year and no such data exists. Lado Protsahan had used ₹217.63 crore of a ₹320 crore provision at that date, and comparing a nine-month utilisation with an annual provision as though it were final is the standard error.
